About Dr Dean Huang
He is an active radiologist with academic interests centred on the application of advanced imaging technologies in urogenital and vascular disease and intervention. He holds a doctoral-level research degree from King’s College London, focused on the use of contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in scrotal pathology. Dr Huang has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and is regularly invited to speak at national and international meetings. His research has been supported by competitive grants and recognised with multiple national and international awards.
Dr Huang previously served as Clinical Lead for Uro-radiology at King’s College Hospital, where he helped shape service delivery and multidisciplinary care pathways. He is a committed member of the European Society of Urogenital Radiology (ESUR), contributing to expert panels responsible for shaping international imaging guidelines.
His clinical practice includes diagnostic radiology, with particular expertise in specialised ultrasound. He also performs minimally invasive procedures, including both vascular and non-vascular interventions, to support timely and accurate diagnosis and treatment. Dr Huang works closely with urologists, nephrologists, oncologists, and vascular surgeons as part of multidisciplinary teams to guide treatment planning. He is committed to clear communication with patients, ensuring imaging findings are well explained and integrated into personalised care.
