About Dr Michael Michail

Dr Michael Michail is an experienced Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease and structural heart conditions, particularly aortic stenosis.

He specialises in advanced interventional procedures, including coronary angioplasty and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).

Dr Michail provides comprehensive cardiac care, managing conditions including chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, dizziness, valve disease, hypertension, and high cholesterol. He utilises contemporary diagnostic tools, including ambulatory ECG and blood pressure monitoring, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and cardiac MRI, ensuring precise and personalised treatment plans.

After graduating from St George's Hospital Medical School, London, Dr Michail trained in leading cardiac centres, including The Heart Hospital (UCLH) and Barts Heart Centre. He completed a prestigious three-year funded PhD and interventional fellowship at MonashHeart, Melbourne, in collaboration with University College London, focusing on coronary physiology and valvular heart disease. He remains actively involved in research and education, contributing to the advancement of interventional cardiology.
